Sole Searching: 5 Shoes Currently on My Wishlist
Like my closet isn't already overflowing with shoes...
As someone who wears a size 11.5 shoe, it can be TOUGH to find shoes that (1) come in my size and (2) don’t make my feet look 20 feet long. Unfortunately for me, I’ll catch myself daydreaming about a pair of shoes only to find out the brand goes up to a size 9. (why is this still a thing??) Anywho, I’ve been doing a lot of sole searching lately (haha, get it?) so I’ve decided I’d 5 pairs of shoes currently on my wishlist. Bonus point for all of these shoes being available in a ton of sizes!
1. SALOMON - ACS Pro GTX rubber-trimmed GORE-TEX® and faux leather sneakers
I’ve had my eye on Salomon sneakers for a while now but haven’t quite found the perfect pair to finally pull the trigger on…until now. I’m usually more of a classic sneaker girl. Sometimes I’ll go for a bold color, for instance with my Adidas gazelles that I just love. I somehow managed to find my size on Farfetch and I’m so excited to buy. Added to cart!
2. Aerosoles - Barry Black Leather Mini Wedge Thong Sandal
These aren’t going to be everyone’s style and that’s ok. I personally love a good thong style flip flop. Aerosoles shoes are known to be extremely comfortable and these go from a size 5 all the way up to a size 12!
3. SIMONMILLER - Fringe Playa Bamboo Heel
If you read my Substack post from a few weeks ago, 3 Brands on My Radar: SS25 then you’ll recognize these beauties. Simon Miller can do no wrong in my eyes when it comes to shoes (and clothing too, but I digress). The fringe: 10/10. The bamboo heel: 10/10. Going up to a size 11: 9/10 because I guess I can squeeze my feet into them.
4. Adidas Originals - Gazelle Indoor in Yellow & Brown
A classic. I love both pairs of my gazelles and am dying to get my hands on this yellow pair. Can you tell I’m into yellow right now?
5. Zara - Leather Strappy Sandals
Zara has been KILLING IT this year in every category, but especially shoes. Sometimes pieces from Zara tend to fall apart after a good amount of use, but I’ve found it to be different with their shoes. Every year I find myself going back to the shoe section on Zara because (1) they’re reasonably priced, and (2) they fit my feet.
Well, that’s all I have for you today. Time to pull out my card and buy those Salomons.
